This Privacy Policy explains how Crumbs handles information when you use the Service at docrumbs.com.

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information we process to provide and secure Crumbs.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use Crumbs, we may process:
- account and contact information (for example, login details and email address);
- service configuration and machine metadata;
- customer content, including workflows, prompts, inputs, outputs, memory entries, and run artifacts;
- support communications you send to us.
We may also process limited operational metadata to run and improve service quality (for example, request metadata, token usage, and error diagnostics).
3. How We Use Information
We process information to:
- provide the Service;
- operate and secure machines and infrastructure;
- debug issues and maintain quality of service;
- respond to support requests;
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Model Provider Processing (BYOK)
Crumbs is BYOK. You choose and configure third-party model providers. We do not provide a default model.
When you run AI tasks, relevant customer content may be sent to your configured model providers (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, or Z-AI) to generate outputs.
Your use of third-party model providers is governed by your relationship with those providers and their terms and privacy policies.
5. No Training Use by Crumbs
We do not use your customer content to train our own models.
6. Data Isolation
Customer environments are logically isolated, and customer data is not mixed across customers.
7. Retention and Deletion
- Delete machine: deleting a machine permanently deletes its associated data. We do not maintain backup copies for recovery.
- Stop machine: stopping a machine preserves its volume so it can be restarted or resized later.
- Billing end: if billing/service ends, retained machine data may be deleted at the end of the paid billing period.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We currently do not use advertising cookies or web tracking tools on docrumbs.com.
9. Children's Privacy
Crumbs is not directed to children and is not intended for users under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Privacy Requests
Privacy requests are handled manually at this stage. To request access, correction, or deletion support, contact hello@docrumbs.com.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version with a new effective date.
