Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Crumbs and related services at docrumbs.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is operated by Transmitter Capital, LLC ("Crumbs," "we," "our," or "us"). Contact: hello@docrumbs.com.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. Service Status (Early Access)
Crumbs is in early access. We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not provide any uptime or service-level guarantee.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, credentials, API keys, machines, and connected environments. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Customer Data and Ownership
You retain ownership of your content and data, including code, workflows, prompts, inputs, outputs, and memory entries ("Customer Data").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and process Customer Data only as needed to operate and secure the Service for you.
We retain all rights in the Service software, infrastructure, and documentation.
5. BYOK Model Providers
Crumbs is a BYOK service. You choose and configure model providers. We do not provide default models.
When you run AI tasks, relevant Customer Data may be sent to third-party model providers you configure (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, or Z-AI) in order to generate results.
You are solely responsible for your relationship with those providers and for compliance with their terms, policies, and applicable law. We are not responsible for third-party provider actions, restrictions, or account bans.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- infringe or misappropriate rights of others;
- distribute malware or perform unauthorized intrusion, exploitation, or security testing;
- conduct phishing, credential theft, spam, fraud, or deceptive activity;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users.
7. Monitoring, Suspension, and Termination
We may investigate misuse and may suspend or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe there is abuse, a security risk, or a violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Data Deletion Behavior
Machine deletion behavior is described in our Privacy Policy. In summary, deleting a machine permanently deletes its data; stopping a machine preserves its volume for restart/resize.
9. Fees and Billing
We do not currently charge fees. We may introduce paid plans or subscriptions in the future and will provide notice before charging you.
10. AI Outputs and Use at Your Own Risk
The Service and model outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for review and verification before relying on any output, especially for legal, financial, medical, safety, or other high-risk decisions.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRUMBS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crumbs and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or law.
14. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
